We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Whilst we endeavour to provide up to date images of individual products, for a minority of items such as high print volume books, stock images may be used. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.

·New With Tags: Unused, unworn, undamaged and brand-new item with the original retail tags attached.

·New Without Tags: Unused, unworn, undamaged and brand-new item which is missing its original retail tags or packaging.

·Used: As New: Worn maybe once, perhaps tried on, but all elements clearly new.

·Used: Very Good: Hardly worn and very well maintained.

·Used: Good: Worn but well maintained with no tired material or pilling.

·Used: Fair: Frequently worn with some marks or discolouration. To be used mostly for Vintage items.

·Used: Poor: No poor condition clothing items to be listed.

Art & Photography, Books, Home & Garden, Music Films TV & V. Games, Toys & Games

·New: In the same state as when it left the manufacturer/original retailer with some evidence of brand new (e.g. still in packaging).

·Fine: For Books only. Similar to ‘as new’, but allowing for the normal effects of time on an unused book that has been protected.

·Used: As New: In the same state as when it left the manufacturer/original retailer.

·Used: Very Good: Used but very well maintained with no tears, scratches or major flaws.

·Used: Good: Used but well maintained.

·Used: Fair: Shows wear and tear but all elements are present.

·Used: Poor: Vintage, antique or very rare which carries a specific interest despite the poor condition.

Collectables

·Mint: For stamps and coins. Original state, untampered, straight from the mint or printers.

·New: In the same state as when it left the manufacturer/original retailer with some evidence of brand new (e.g. still in packaging).

·Used: As New: In the same state as when it left the manufacturer/original retailer.

·Used: Very Good: Used but very well maintained with no tears, scratches or major flaws.

·Used: Good: Used but well maintained.

·Used: Fair: Shows wear and tear but all elements are present.

·Used: Poor: Vintage, antique or very rare which carries a specific interest despite the poor condition.

The supply of goods from this website is subject to availability and it is not always possible for us to inform you at the time you place your order whether the goods you want are still available for purchase. In the case of this happening a carefully selected alternative may be offered, or a refund may be given.

EU, Northern Island & the USA

Due to the implementation of cross-border VAT sales to the EU from the UK on July 1 2021, we're very sorry but we are currently unable to ship or sell any Second-hand, Sourced by Oxfam or Oxfam Unwrapped products to any EU addresses. This includes virtual (ecard) products.

Due to the implementation of The European Union's General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), which came into force on 13 December 2024, we're very sorry but we are currently unable to ship or sell any Second-hand, Sourced by Oxfam or Oxfam Unwrapped products to any Northern Ireland addresses.

From 29 August 2025, new U.S. import rules require duties on all goods, including low-value postal shipments, to be calculated and collected in advance based on country of manufacture. As we ship via the postal network, these changes create significant complications in collecting duties at the point of sale. Unfortunately, this means we can no longer ship orders to U.S. addresses. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank our U.S. customers for their past support.

Oxfam offers a standard UK delivery charge of £3.95 on all orders containing second-hand, donated products or Sourced by Oxfam products sent by Royal Mail, with the exception of high-value or bulky items, which incur a mandatory courier charge.

Oxfam offers a standard UK delivery charge of £1.00 on Oxfam Unwrapped gifts.

Second-hand items (unless indicated otherwise) and Oxfam Unwrapped items can be delivered internationally, to non-EU addresses, but please be aware that additional charges will apply and will be calculated at checkout. Sourced by Oxfam items cannot be delivered internationally. Please note that due legal custom processes, the Channel Islands fall under 'international postage' and although additional charges may not apply, not all items will be available for delivery to these locations.

We aim to dispatch all items within 7 working days of your order being received.

If you are a reseller of our goods, and are using our delivery service to fulfil orders to your customers, you must advise those customers that their data will be passed on to us for fulfilment of their order.

We offer a 28-day no quibbles returns policy (or 31 days for overseas returns), which begins from the date you received the goods. This is extended to the end of January for anything bought in December.

Simply return your item, the condition which you received it (all packaging and labels still attached with Sourced by Oxfam items) within 28 days and your return will be automatically processed. Alternatively, you have 14 days from receipt of your item to notify us you wish to return it, then another 14 days from notifying us to return the item. If you contact us outside of the 14-day period or fail to return the item to us within 28 days we will not refund the order (unless defective/damaged). When you send your item back to us we will process the returned item and offer you the choice of a replacement (excluding second-hand goods, which are unique) or a refund.

If you request a refund we will refund the full price of the goods, including any mandatory delivery charges incurred. If your order included more than one item, you will only receive a refund of the delivery cost if you return all items within that order.

You will receive notification via e-mail of your refund. The funds may then take a few more days to appear in your account. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.

Free returns is available to items posted to UK addresses only. As the buyer, you are responsible for the cost of postage should you wish to return any items from overseas.

Orders that are shipped overseas may be subject to custom duties, and these are not included in the purchase price. As the buyer, you're responsible for these charges - unfortunately we have no control over them and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. If you'd like any further information, you should contact your local customs office.

As the buyer, you are also responsible for the cost of postage should you wish to return any items from overseas.

We will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss even if the loss was reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when the contract for the sale of goods was formed. However, Oxfam does not limit in any way our liability by law for death or personal injury caused from our negligence or breach of duty or caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Terms and Conditions of Purchase at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of Purchase in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Oxfam's VAT registration number is GB348454238.

Discounts are not applicable with any other offers, promotions or discount codes, cannot be applied retrospectively to any orders, exclude items from Bridal and Antiquarian, Rare & Collectable Books and may exclude some very high value items.

Free delivery is not applicable to items with an overseas or courier charge.
